Review highlights
Based on 81 reviewsThe Fairwoods On Seven is widely praised for its charming location overlooking the Pinehurst #7 golf course and adjacent lake, offering a tranquil and scenic dining atmosphere both indoors and on the outdoor deck. Visitors frequently highlight the attentive, friendly, and well-trained staff, enhancing a pleasant and casual yet refined experience. The menu is noted for fresh seafood, made-to-order salads, and quality light lunch options, appealing to a gourmet palate. While the food consistently receives high marks for quality and taste, some feedback suggests the wine list could be expanded, particularly with more premium selections for special occasions. Overall, the restaurant is regarded as an excellent spot for post-golf dining and socializing with a comfortable setting and good beverage choices.
Completely enjoy this spot. The folks working there are all awesome. Very, very attentive, pleasant and helpful. My wife had lobster. I had steak & 'frites'. Both excellent. I also really enjoy the more casual dining environment.
We had lunch here after round on #7 at Pinehurst Resort. The food was very good and nice views of the course.
Had one of the best meals of my life here, much better than the round of golf I had earlier in the day.
Great location. View of lake and 18th hole of No. 7 at Pinehurst for both Inside and outdoor deck seating. Friendly and well trained staff with comfortable seating. Good back bar for post golf refreshment. Menu always has fresh seafood, home mDe soups and to order salads. Only minor complaint is limited wine list. What they have is good but could use "Captains List" for special occasions. Our favorites include the grilled Pork chop, Scollops, baked chicken, the daily Pasta specials and of course homemade ice cream for desert. Always a spiritual lift to any day.
For the gormet palette with an excellent selection of light lunch fair. Tranquil view of Pinehurst # seven with full bar and pleasant staff.
Chef Jamie is incredible. Ronnie, Tiffany,, Phyllis, and Angie are spectacular. The food is very good and reasonably priced. The service is second to none!
I want to thank the dining staff for making a special night special. When I entered everyone greeted me by name. My husband and I were Charter Members of the Fairwoods. Age caught up with us and we left several years ago. Everyone was so nice and helpful…..as I well Remember from years ago. Thank you to everyone. Harriet Neely P. S. The coffee ice cream pie was wonderful….It was my favorite dessert.
